4 | The purpose and the scope of the workshop |
As you may notice, almost all academic meetings in the world in 2020 were canceled or postponed due to the pandemic outbreak of Covid-19. This situation is very tough not only for professors or researchers of company but also young students who lost many opportunities to present their up-to-date research and development activities. To solve this difficult situation, the 2020 International Workshop on AC poling for relaxor single crystals by virtual zoom meeting was held in Sep. 2020. The purpose of the 2021 international virtual workshop is to share new knowledge, skills and technology of domain engineering technology of single crystals, ceramics and their applications among young researchers under 35 years old. The domain engineering includes a new innovative poling method, especially AC poling. We hope many young researchers take a part of this important and challenging opportunity. | |
